Major Completed Projects in Dholera Smart City
As of late 2025, Dholera Smart City has achieved significant milestones with numerous projects completed and operational. The Activation Area infrastructure is over 95% complete, with several key facilities already operational.
Infrastructure & Utilities Completed
- Internal Road Network (Phase 1): 72 km of roads completed within Activation Area, ranging from 12m to 70m wide, with street lighting and landscaping
- Water Treatment Plant (50 MLD): Fully operational facility providing high-quality potable water to Activation Area
- Raw Water Transmission Main (10 MLD): Pipeline from Narmada Canal via Pipli Pumping Station to Water Treatment Plant
- Underground Utility Network: 135 km of pipelines for water distribution and sewage collection; underground power cabling (200+ km)
- Power Substation: 220/33kV substation commissioned by Torrent Power with feeder lines operational
- Sewage Treatment Plant (10 MLD): Operational facility for domestic waste treatment
- Adhiya River Bunding Phase-1: Protective embankments completed to secure Activation Area from flooding
Administrative & Business Facilities Completed
- ABCD Building (Administration and Business Centre): 36,000 sq. meters, fully operational command-and-control center and administrative hub in TP2 West Knowledge & IT Zone
- Business and Exhibition Centre (BEC): Fully operational facility within ABCD Complex for investor engagement and promotional activities
- Experience Zone: High-tech interactive display with projection mapping of Dholera's master plan (completed by Tagbin for ₹4.84 crore)
Environmental & Recreational Projects Completed
- Solar Park (Phase 1): 300 MW solar plant commissioned by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd with India's largest single-axis solar tracker system; additional capacity under construction (over 1,200 MW commissioned as of late 2025)
- Canal Front Development (Zone 2 & 3): 6 km of water channels transformed into scenic urban space with secure promenades and viewing areas
Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities Completed
- Tata Power Solar Plant: 300 MW operational solar facility generating 774 million units annually
- INOX Air Products Land Development: Land secured for Electronic Specialty Gas Hub (under construction)
Connectivity Projects Completed
- Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway (NH 751): 98% complete as of December 2025, with finishing touches on key interchanges enabling 45-minute commute from Ahmedabad
- Dholera International Airport: 3,200-meter runway nearly finished; terminal building and ATC tower progressing rapidly; cargo operations expected to lead in early 2026
