1. Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
The DMIC is the backbone of Dholera's development, providing funding and strategic direction for infrastructure development. As one of the world's largest infrastructure programs, DMIC connects Delhi to Mumbai across six states, with Dholera serving as a key node in this industrial corridor.
2. Gujarat Special Investment Region (SIR) Act, 2009
The SIR Act provides the legal framework for large-scale investment areas exceeding 100 sq. km. Key features include:
- Autonomous governance structure with DSIRDA as the regulatory authority
- Single-window clearance for industrial approvals
- Land pooling mechanism for infrastructure development
- Tax incentives and investment benefits
3. Special Economic Zone (SEZ)
A dedicated SEZ has been established within Dholera offering:
- 100% FDI approval in manufacturing and services
- Tax holidays for export-oriented units
- Duty-free import of raw materials and capital goods
- Simplified regulatory compliance
4. Smart Cities Mission
Under the Government of India's Smart City Mission, Dholera receives funding and technical support for smart infrastructure implementation, including:
- Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC)
- Smart grid power distribution
- Intelligent transport systems
- IoT-enabled urban management
5. Green Energy Zone and Solar Park
The Dholera Solar Park, categorized as an Ultra Mega Solar Power Project, is actively transitioning from development to operations:
- Total Planned Capacity: 5,000 MW (5 GW)
- Commissioned Capacity: Over 1,200 MW as of late 2025
- Major Developer: Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (300 MW with India's largest single-axis solar tracker system)
- Additional Developers: ReNew Power, SJVN Limited, TEQ Green Power (O2 Power)
- Power Generation: 774 million units annually from Tata Power plant alone

- Water Supply Scheme: Raw Water Transmission Main (10 MLD) from Narmada Canal
- Power Distribution: 220/33kV substation with redundant supply from GETCO and PGCIL
